Self-Luv Wellness Month

A month of Self-Luv Wellness in review…

This month’s theme provided the opportunity to look at how we define Self-Luv Wellness ~ and ALL the ways in which we do, or don’t, experience self-luv.  

Throughout the month, we explored Self-Luv Wellness in its active form ~ Luving oneself as MOVEMENT, ACTION! We looked at self care activities, mantras, creating recharging rituals that are good for us personally AND professionally- resulting in more productivity and effectiveness.

More energy and better focus = Get more done, fewer errors!  Consider this, Leaders! 

For luving self as it pertains to your body, I pulled out different lenses, LITERALLY! (check out my IG to see my fancy lenses). I mean, what if you actually get more energy by expending energy? How about you start small, like, you do a half a push-up/day? Or you simply raise your arms alongside your ears, and let them float down, while seated at your desk? 

Play with that, let me know what shifts for you! 

Finally, I rounded out this month with a Byron Katie quote,β€œIt’s not your job to like me- it’s mine”
Self-luv is an INSIDE job!

Martin Luther King’s calls us to, β€œBelieve in yourself and that you’re somebody! Nobody else can do this for us!” AMEN! Yes…Nobody else can like you for yourself! 

And so, I invite you to sit with the following questions: 

  • In what ways do you show yourself luv?

  • How do you know when you’re engaged in luving yourself well?

    • What does your heart feel like?

    • What does your body tell you?

    • What is your spirit’s longing?

  • What’s 1 thing that you can do right now to express luv for yourself?
